Dr. Marvin Stein|
Dr. Stein graduated cum laude from Brooklyn College in 1967. After earning his bachelors degree, he continued his studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Medicine where he received his medical degree in 1971. Dr. Stein performed all of his post graduate training at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. He completed his surgical internship in 1972 and then served as a junior assistant resident in surgery until 1973. Dr. Stein served his urology residency from 1976 to 1977, and was chief resident in urology from 1977 to 1978. He is on the Florida Panthers' Medical Team.
Dr. Stein is certified by the American Board of Urology, the National Board of Medical Examiners, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He currently is a clinical instructor of urology at the Jackson Memorial Hospital and has also been chairman IRB at the Northwest Medical Center since 1990. Dr. Stein served in the United States Air Force from 1973 to 1975. He graduated from the U.S.A.F. School of Aerospace Medicine, and was the chief flight surgeon at McGuire A.F.B., New Jersey.
Dr. Stein is very active in the urological community. He has given numerous presentations and has two articles submitted for publication to the medical journal Urology. Dr. Stein has also attended many educational meetings of the many medical societies and has taken many post graduate courses to remain up to date with the new developments in urological treatments and techniques.
Dr. Stein is a member of many regional and national medical societies, including the Florida Medical Society, the Florida Urological Society, the American Urological Association, the American College of Surgeons, and the American College of Physician Executives. He is also affiliated with many area hospitals. They are the West Boca Medical Center, the Florida Medical Center, the Northwest Medical Center, the Plantation Hospital, the University Hospital, Coral Springs Medical Center, North Broward Medical Center, and Westside Regional Medical Center.
